It is wonderful to receive positive and moving messages from the couples I have performed a ceremony for. Every ceremony is unique, as is every couple I have the honour to work with.  I want my couples to say “Our ceremony was the best part of our wedding day,” just like Alisha and Tony, because that means I have done a great job for them.

From the time I receive an enquiry, I am fully invested in making sure my couples have the best wedding ceremony, and just the way they want it. I am blessed to work with clients from every walk of life.  That’s what makes my life so interesting. I absolutely love meeting new people and helping to make their dream day happen just the way they want it.

I listen to my clients, understand who they are, and what they want. My job is to take all that information and write a unique and memorable ceremony for them, that is about them. I write a first draft and send it to the couple. They have the opportunity to edit it before I write the final ceremony.  That way, they are 100% happy with every word I am going to say on their day.

Because I want to make their ceremony the best part of their wedding day, I offer optional special elements to the ceremony that make the day memorable for everyone.  These include unity elements, which include family members. I love to include children in the ceremony so they feel part of the day. 

I do enjoy it when we can add some humour to the ceremony, because the guests really enjoy that and it keeps everyone engaged. Every couple has a story, and it is my privilege to tell theirs and engage their guests.

It was an absolute pleasure to receive this review from the most beautiful couple, Nadia & Jason.  They were a joy to work with, full of fun, and it warms my heart to see a couple who are so perfectly suited for each other.

No stone was left unturned in their consideration for their guests.  Because of all their planning, it turned out to be a truly magical day for them and their guests. We got married in Bellapais in May 2024, and it was a lovely, magical, stress-free day.
We had Rosie do our service, and she listened to what we wanted and made it very personal to us.

Working with Rosie was an absolute delight from start to finish. Her professionalism, creativity, and genuine care for her clients shine through in everything she does. Rosie not only conducted a beautiful ceremony for us but also guided us through the wedding planning process with grace and ease.

How did we choose Rosie?

When we decided to get married and have a wedding in Northern Cyprus, a friend suggested Rosie. We looked at her website and liked what we saw, so we arranged to meet up with her. Our original idea was a small, intimate Cypriot-style wedding in our favourite local boho bar by the sea.

We had a long chat with Rosie.  At that first meeting, we kicked around our ideas, and she came up with lots of other suggestions. We loved the idea of adding a Scottish element, with bagpipes. Our Scottish Cypriot wedding plan was born at that first meeting, and it just grew from there.   The Handfasting element she suggested was a lovely way to bring together the two cultures. But more importantly, Rosie explained what our roles and hers would be.  Alison just had to look fabulous, and I just had to tag along with Rosie and be relaxed.  She would take on all the stressful stuff, which she did.

Rosie is more than a celebrant.

Rosie is more than just a celebrant: She is a wedding planner extraordinaire.  She is very organised and always on top of things, and gently nudged us when we needed to provide her with something.  But, more importantly, she’s very interested in people’s stories, and she took ours and wrote a beautiful and personalised ‘love story’ for the ceremony.  It was very emotional for us, and everyone present was visibly moved. She brought that special magic touch to our day.

How was it working with Rosie?

It rained on the day, and we could have panicked. But Rosie always has a plan B and plan C. Thankfully, thanks to Rosie, our wedding was everything we had dreamed of and more; she just made it happen, so we didn’t have any of the stress. If you’re looking for a wedding celebrant and planner who will go above and beyond to create a magical and memorable day, look no further than Rosie.

We highly recommend her to anybody looking for a celebrant and wedding planner; she is simply the best. So go get ‘Rosied’ too.

A funeral review from Patrick Fellows about how he managed from 7,000 miles away to organise his father’s funeral within days.

My father had lived in Northern Cyprus for over 30 years. I wanted his funeral service to be a celebration of his life rather than a mourning of his passing.

Living over 7,000 km away was causing me some concern regarding the arrangements of the service, particularly who would conduct it and how they would know what to say.

What Happened Next

Rosie was recommended to me as a very competent, experienced celebrant. With less than a week before the ceremony, Rosie got in touch with me via WhatsApp. We had a lovely, informal talk, discussing my late father’s life and friends. After our conversation, and despite the short time scale and her already busy schedule, Rosie did her research. Rosie suggested some music that could be played. She suggested that we could also live-stream the service for his friends and relatives who would not be able to attend in person.

We communicated several times over the coming days. Rosie designed a funeral notice banner that she then published on the local expat forums. This informed people about my father’s passing away and the details of the ceremony.

On The Day

I only met Rosie in person on the day of the service. She had coordinated with everybody, the British Cemetery Committee, the Royal British Legion, and the music and streaming services. The service proceeded seamlessly.

These ceremonies can often be quite clinical and impersonal. I have to say that with Rosie’s organisation and delivery skills, she made it seem she had known my late father for many years. As well as specifically mentioning members of his direct family in the ceremony that she crafted, she also included the people who took care of him during the last months of his life. She also asked some of his close friends to give tributes during the service.

The music and live stream went without a hitch and meant so much to those who couldn’t attend on the day. It truly was a celebration of his life.
