Their wedding ceremony with Celebrant Rosie Anstey.

Working with Rosie was an absolute delight from start to finish. Her professionalism, creativity, and genuine care for her clients shine through in everything she does. Rosie not only conducted a beautiful ceremony for us but also guided us through the wedding planning process with grace and ease.

How did we choose Rosie?

When we decided to get married and have a wedding in Northern Cyprus, a friend suggested Rosie. We looked at her website and liked what we saw, so we arranged to meet up with her. Our original idea was a small, intimate Cypriot-style wedding in our favourite local boho bar by the sea.

We had a long chat with Rosie.  At that first meeting, we kicked around our ideas, and she came up with lots of other suggestions. We loved the idea of adding a Scottish element, with bagpipes. Our Scottish Cypriot wedding plan was born at that first meeting, and it just grew from there.   The Handfasting element she suggested was a lovely way to bring together the two cultures. But more importantly, Rosie explained what our roles and hers would be.  Alison just had to look fabulous, and I just had to tag along with Rosie and be relaxed.  She would take on all the stressful stuff, which she did.

Rosie is more than a celebrant.

Rosie is more than just a celebrant: She is a wedding planner extraordinaire.  She is very organised and always on top of things, and gently nudged us when we needed to provide her with something.  But, more importantly, she’s very interested in people’s stories, and she took ours and wrote a beautiful and personalised ‘love story’ for the ceremony.  It was very emotional for us, and everyone present was visibly moved. She brought that special magic touch to our day.

How was it working with Rosie?

It rained on the day, and we could have panicked. But Rosie always has a plan B and plan C. Thankfully, thanks to Rosie, our wedding was everything we had dreamed of and more; she just made it happen, so we didn’t have any of the stress. If you’re looking for a wedding celebrant and planner who will go above and beyond to create a magical and memorable day, look no further than Rosie.
