Real Destination Weddings in Cyprus
What does a summer wedding in Cyprus really look like?
July and August 2026 have brought some incredible weddings. My couples have travelled from the UK, Canada, Australia and across Europe to marry here.
Some chose romantic ceremonies in Bellapais. Others celebrated at Korineum Golf & Beach Resort or in the beautiful Troodos Mountains.
Each wedding was completely different.
As a Cyprus wedding celebrant, wedding coordinator and professional Master of Ceremonies, I am involved in many parts of a wedding day.
For some couples, I create and conduct their ceremony. For others, I help with the planning, recommend trusted Cyprus wedding suppliers and coordinate the wedding day.
I can also stay throughout the celebration as their Master of Ceremonies and professional Toastmaster.
Here are just a few snapshots from my July and August weddings in Cyprus.
Hülya & Colin – A Destination Wedding in Cyprus
Hülya and Colin travelled from Toronto, Canada, to marry in Cyprus.
They chose a stunning traditional Cypriot stone venue for their wedding.
Family and friends flew in from around the world to join them.
It was a true family celebration. Warm, relaxed and full of love.
Their wedding showed exactly why Cyprus is such a wonderful destination for couples with family living in different countries.
Everyone could come together in one beautiful place and enjoy more than just the wedding day.

Bethany & Arran – Korineum Golf & Beach Resort Wedding
Almost a year of planning went into Bethany and Arran’s beautiful wedding at Korineum Golf & Beach Resort in Northern Cyprus.
Planning a destination wedding requires careful organisation.
There are venues, suppliers, travel arrangements and timings to consider. When couples are planning from overseas, having someone in Cyprus can make the process much easier.
I helped Bethany and Arran with supplier recommendations, travel and logistics. I also planned and conducted their personalised wedding ceremony.
On the wedding day, I coordinated the suppliers and became their Master of Ceremonies for the reception.
This was my Complete Wedding Day Experience.
One person overseeing the wedding from ceremony through to evening celebrations. Some couples become like family, and Beth and Arran were definitely one of these couples.

Alexandria & Jack – A Greek Orthodox Wedding in Cyprus
Alexandria and Jack celebrated their marriage with a beautiful Greek Orthodox church wedding in Cyprus.
Guests travelled from around the world to be there.
The reception was a spectacular celebration.
There was fabulous food, Cypriot entertainment, DJs and drummers.
With so much happening, careful wedding-day coordination was essential.
My job during the day was to work behind the scenes with the venue and suppliers, organising the set-up at the reception.
I went to the church and met the guests, and ensured the wedding party was organised and on time. I then coordinated the wedding bridal party to ensure everything happened at the right time on cue, therefore delivering a seamless day.
During the ceremony, I returned to the venue for the reception to oversee the set-up and ensure everything was ready to greet the guests as they arrived. I coordinated the suppliers, entertainers, and venue to adhere to the timeline;
I then served as their professional Master of Ceremonies and Toastmaster for the evening celebrations, keeping everything running on time.
That meant Alexandria and Jack could concentrate on celebrating with their guests and everyone could relax and have fun. The suppliers all worked as a team, which was amazing, and we all had a wonderful time celebrating Alex and Jack’s wedding.

Beth & Jess – A Bellapais Wedding Filled With Sunflowers
Beth and Jess travelled from Australia to Northern Cyprus for their wedding.
They chose beautiful Bellapais for their destination celebration.
Family and friends travelled from around the world to join them.
Their wedding at Bellapais Gardens was full of personality.
Sunflowers were specially grown locally for the wedding. They looked spectacular against the beautiful Bellapais setting.
Locally sourced food added a wonderful taste of Cyprus.
Live entertainment from Roland Ash brought even more atmosphere to the celebrations.
But the most important part of the day was family. We had a family handfasting as part of the ceremony where Jess and her 3 children joined with Beth to become one family. They had a beautiful bespoke family handfasting certificate to commemorate the day.
Their wedding was emotional, personal, and great fun.
It was also a beautiful celebration of two families coming together.

Shannon & Jordan – A Romantic Wedding in Bellapais
Shannon and Jordan married on a very hot August day in Bellapais, Northern Cyprus.
It is difficult to imagine a more romantic setting for a wedding in Cyprus.
Their guests travelled from the UK and Europe to celebrate with them.
After their Bellapais wedding ceremony, everyone travelled to Korineum Golf & Beach Resort to continue the celebrations.
Combining different locations can give guests the chance to experience more of Cyprus during the wedding day.
For a destination wedding, that can make the celebration even more memorable.

Omar & Ellie – A Middle Eastern and English Wedding in Limassol, Cyprus
Omar and Ellie celebrated their wedding high in the Troodos Mountains near Limassol.
Their day brought together Arab and English cultures.
It was glamorous, elegant and beautifully multicultural.
Cyprus is an ideal location for multicultural and international weddings.
Its location makes it accessible for guests travelling from the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
It also offers an incredible variety of wedding settings.
You can marry beside the Mediterranean, in a traditional village, at a luxury resort or high in the mountains.
Onar and Ellie’s wedding was a wonderful example of two cultures coming together in Cyprus.
Hannah & Kai – A Wedding by the Lake at Korineum Golf Resort
Hannah and Kai chose Korineum in Northern Cyprus for their wedding.
Their ceremony took place beside the lake.
The celebrations then moved to Korineum’s beautiful olive grove overlooking the Mediterranean.
Guests travelled from around the world to see them marry.
After the ceremony, everyone could relax, celebrate, and dance beneath the Cyprus stars.
It was a wonderful destination wedding in a spectacular setting.
